Education Committee to meet over rising school costs

There is a glimmer of hope on the horizon for hard-pressed parents.

The Education Committee is meeting with a number of interest groups this morning to discuss how to tackle rising 'back to school' costs.

The meetings come after a recent survey revealed the average cost for a child in primary school is €487 euro, rising to €620 euro for students in secondary school.
