One dean, 10 hurt in Pakistan motorcycle blast
on 08/10/2012 11:33:55
Senior police official Wazir Khan Nasir said the device was detonated by remote-control in Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province.
Mr Nasir said most of the victims were civilians and that at least two of the wounded are in a serious condition.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but the province has long been the scene of a low-level insurgency involving Baluch nationalist groups.
Islamist militants, including the al-Qaida-affiliated group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, also operate in Baluchistan.
