Man to appear in court over Melanie McNamara murder

A man is due before court in the morning, in connection with the murder of Melanie McNamara in Tallaght, Dublin on February 7th.

The man, who is in his late teens, will appear before Tallaght District Court.

He is the second man to be charged over the teenager's death, a 23-year-old man was charged just two weeks after the shooting dead of the 16-year-old.

Melanie McNamara died after she was shot in a drive-by shooting at Brookview Way in Tallaght.

She was a passenger in a parked car, which it's believed also contained the intended victim of the shooting.
