Gardaí arrest two in Cork cannabis seizure

Three men have been arrested in Cork following the seizure of cannabis worth €1.5m.

In a joint operation between gardaí in Limerick and Cork, a quantity of cannabis resin was found in a car on the Boreenameena Road in Cork city at lunchtime.

Further quantities of the drug were seized during a follow-up search of a house in the area.

Two men aged in their fifties and one in his forties are being held for questioning at the Bridewell and Togher Garda Stations.
