Aer Lingus industrial action to go ahead - SIPTU
on 26/09/2012 15:54:51
The union is in dispute with the airline and the Dublin Airport Authority, which also runs Cork and Shannon airports, over the company's pension plan.
The High Court is due to hear an application on Friday by the DAA, which is seeking to halt the action.
However, SIPTU says there is 'anger and dismay' among members over the threats, legal and otherwise, that have been made by the employers in recent days.
The action will take the form of staggered work stoppages.
