Moody's advises debt write-down on Irish housing market

Ratings agency Moody's has said debt write-down is the only way to fix the Irish housing market.

It has published a report on residential mortgages in the country and says the mortgage crisis will only peak next year.

It is also suggesting that one in five homes will then be in default.
