Final household charge letters to arrive within fortnight

Landlords and second home owners who haven't paid the household charge are set to receive final demand letters in the next fortnight.

Around 50,000 are being sent out to those who first received warning letters in July.

The first round of warning letters targeting people who only own their own home and haven't paid the €100 charge are expected to be sent out by the end of this month.
