HSE official questioned over alleged fraud in Cork

A HSE official has been arrested in Cork for questioning about an alleged fraud at St Mary's Hospital, Gurranbraher.

The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested this morning and taken to Gurranbraher garda station.

The investigation dates back to July when Gardaí, acting on information, raided St Mary's Hospital and seized documents and computers as part of their inquiry.
