Man found dead in Kinsale laid to rest

The Funeral Mass has taken place in Dungarvan in Co Waterford for one of the two men who died in Kinsale, Co Cork last weekend.

Michael Coleman and his friend, Liam Coffey, both aged 22 and from Waterford, were found dead by Michael's girlfriend on Sunday morning in his rented house in the town.

Gardaí believe the men may have consumed a powder containing ecstasy, which could have contributed to their deaths.

The case has prompted the HSE to warn recreational drug users in the area not to take it.

This morning, a private funeral mass for close family and friends was held for Mr Coleman in St Augustine's Church in Dungarvan. He was later buried in the adjoining cemetery.
