Howlin: No need to tamper with Croke Park deal
on 11/09/2012 12:42:12
Brendan Howlin made the comment as he arrived in County Kildare for the start of the Parliamentary Labour Party pre-Dáil think-in.
Minister Howlin says the coalition is determined to see out the deal with public servants: "It is delivering on all the targets set but nothing is immutable.
"We have a deal and as long as the other sides stick to the deal - that we get to the reforms, get to the changed practices and get savings in public expenditure, which is the really important thing - the government will stick to its side of the bargin."
