Body discovered in Dublin named

A man in his 50s found murdered in Dublin yesterday has been named locally as Christopher Jackson.

It is understood that he died violently, possibly as a result of a stabbing.

Mr. Jackson's remains were discovered yesterday in an apartment on Prussia St in Stoneybatter.

Gardaí are questioning three people over the killing - 2 men in their 30s, and a woman in her 40s.

All three are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at stations in Dublin city centre.
