Police investigating blaze at disused pub suspect foul play

Police in the North say they are treating the outbreak of a fire at a disused pub this morning as suspicious.

The building in Gilford, Co Armagh was extensively damaged in the blaze, which broke out shortly before 3am.

A number of homes near the property in Wall Road had to be evacuated while fire crews tackled the flames.

A man was seen running away and getting into a red Vauxhall car shortly before the fire started.

Police want anyone with information to contact them.
