Armed robbery at Dun Laoghaire post office

Gardaí are investigating following an armed robbery at a post office in Dun Laoghaire this morning.

Two men, armed with handguns, entered the premises on George's Street just before 10.30am this morning and made away with a sum of money.

It is believed that one fled the scene on foot while the other was seen making his getaway in a darkly coloured car.
