Search continues for man missing off Cork coast

Efforts are continuing this morning to find a German man who has been reported as missing off the Cork coast.

The man, aged in his 50s, was diving with two other people off Cape Clear yesterday. The alarm was raised just before 6pm, when he failed to surface.

The search operation involves Irish Navel vessel the LE Ciarathe, Valentia Coastguard, the Shannon-based helicopter and local lifeboats.
