Man loses fight for life after Mulligar accident

One of the men seriously injured in an car crash in Mullingar today has lost his fight for life.

The man aged in his late 20s was pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore late this afternoon.

He was one of three men injured in the single-vehicle collision which happened on the Killucan Road outside Mullingar, Co Westmeath around midday.

A second man is in a critical condition while the third occupant of the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.
