Man arrested following Tipperary cannabis seizure

A man in his mid thirties has been arrested following a cannabis seizure in Tipperary.

Gardaí from Tipperary and the National Drugs Unit recovered around 800 cannabis plants following a search of a premises at Moanfin in Nenagh yesterday.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €640,000.

The man who was detained is being detained at Templemore Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
