Extra troops on standby for Olympics

Up to 3,500 extra troops are believed to be on standby to help with security at this summer's London Olympics.

It comes amid fears that the private company hired to look after security for the games won't be able to supply enough trained staff in time.

Earlier in the week, the British Home Secretary defended the firm, saying she was confident it could deliver a safe and secure Games.
